## Description

We are looking for an experienced **Technical Quotations Manager** with a strong background in **switchgear and electrical power distribution**.

This is **not** a sales role or an on-site Project Management role. Instead, it is a technical, office-based position (remote) requiring strong commercial awareness, excellent organisation and in-depth knowledge of electrical distribution products.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will become the central point of coordination for customer quotations, working closely with customers, vendors, suppliers and an internal quotations team.

You will take ownership of the quotation workflow, ensuring multiple projects are prioritised correctly, completed accurately and delivered on time.

**PLEASE NOTE:**

-   **Working Hours:** **Monday – Friday, 14:00 PM – 11:00 PM South African time** – _subject to change in accordance with daylight saving in the United States as well as the operational requirements of the Company_.
-   You will be required to work on both **South African and U.S. public holidays** (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
-   **Internet Requirements:** A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of **25 Mbps (upload & download)** and the ability to support a **wired Ethernet connection** is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
-   **Power Backup:** A **reliable power backup solution** is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
-   **Work Environment:** This is a **fully remote** working role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Manage the day-to-day quotations workflow.
-   Prioritise approximately 10–15 active quotations at any given time.
-   Coordinate work across a small quotations team.
-   Liaise with customers, suppliers and manufacturers regarding pricing, specifications and revisions.
-   Ensure quotations are accurate, complete and delivered within required deadlines.
-   Review customer requirements and technical specifications.
-   Keep projects progressing from enquiry through to order.
-   Work closely with company leadership to ensure priorities are aligned.

**Requirements:**

-   Previous experience working within the electrical distribution industry.
-   Strong knowledge of:

-   Switchgear
-   Circuit breakers
-   Fuses
-   Panelboards
-   Low Voltage (LV)
-   Medium Voltage (MV)
-   UPS systems
-   Electrical protection equipment

-   Previous experience preparing or coordinating technical quotations.
-   Experience working with electrical contractors, distributors or manufacturers.
-   Excellent organisational and communication skills.
-   Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
-   Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
-   Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

**Nice to Have:**

-   Previous leadership or team coordination experience.
-   Experience working with electrical wholesalers or manufacturers.
-   Knowledge of US electrical products or standards.
