**Senior AI-Augmented Engineer**

_**missions**_ 🛠

-   Take **end-to-end ownership** of solutions, from problem definition through implementation and production.
-   Design and develop primarily **backend-focused solutions**, while contributing across the full technology stack when required.
-   Build and maintain scalable solutions and cloud infrastructure in a **production environment**.
-   Develop and maintain **CI/CD pipelines and automation**.
-   Work with **event-driven architectures**, including RabbitMQ and Change Data Capture (CDC).
-   Contribute to frontend development when required.
-   Implement and maintain **unit, integration and end-to-end testing** practices.
-   Ensure solutions meet requirements around **reliability, performance, security and observability**.
-   Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining engineering quality and ownership.
-   Investigate technical issues, solve complex problems and make **pragmatic engineering trade-offs**.
-   Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to improving the team's overall engineering standards.

_**your profile**_ 👀

-   Extensive engineering experience and a production-oriented mindset.
-   Strong expertise in a **compiled language**, preferably **Go**; Java, Scala or C++ are also relevant.
-   Strong **relational database and SQL** knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL.
-   Hands-on experience with **AWS, Terraform and Infrastructure as Code**.
-   Strong scripting capabilities with **Python, Bash or Ruby**.
-   Familiarity with **TypeScript, Angular or React**.
-   Experience with production environments and tools such as **OpenTelemetry and New Relic**.
-   Comfortable working with **AI-assisted development tools**, such as OpenAI Codex and Claude.
-   Strong **debugging and problem-solving skills**.
-   Ability to challenge assumptions, make pragmatic decisions and take ownership of technical work.
-   Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
