## Description

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Subject Matter Expert provides senior‑level analytical and reporting expertise in support of **NAVSEA financial, logistics, and acquisition mission areas**. This role supports Navy enterprise business systems and analytics modernization efforts, including **Navy ERP operations, migration to SAP S/4HANA**, and the use of **Advana and Jupiter** as authoritative data and decision‑support platforms.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

-   A **Bachelor’s degree** and a minimum of **seven (7) years of relevant experience** supporting Navy ERP and/or SAP Business Objects reporting and analytics

## Requirements

Responsibilities and Qualifications

-   Apply comprehensive **technical and functional expertise in Navy ERP and SAP S/4HANA** to the development and sustainment of reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting **NAVSEA financial management, logistics operations, and acquisition programs**.

-   Support business intelligence and reporting requirements related to **budget execution, cost management, funds control, supply chain visibility, asset management, contracts, and program performance**.
-   Design, develop, and maintain **BI dashboards and analytics products** using **SAP analytics tools, Advana, and Jupiter** to deliver actionable insights to NAVSEA stakeholders.
-   Support enterprise data efforts including **reporting, analytics, dashboards, data warehousing, data integration, data mapping, data management, data governance, archiving, and metadata management**.
-   Develop and support **data extracts, transformation and load (ETL) processes**, metrics collection, and analysis of **Navy ERP and associated feeder system data**, ensuring consistency across authoritative sources.
-   Integrate and reconcile Navy ERP data within **Advana and Jupiter** to support enterprise reporting, performance measurement, audit readiness, and senior‑leader decision making.
-   Analyze and report financial, logistics, and acquisition data for **internal and external NAVSEA customers**, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with business rules and governance standards.
-   Collaborate with functional users, system owners, and technical teams to **gather requirements, resolve data issues, and implement reporting and analytics solutions** in a dynamic enterprise environment.
-   Demonstrate strong **written and verbal communication skills**, including the ability to translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, mission‑focused information for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
-   Provide high‑quality **customer service** to internal project teams and external government stakeholders.
-   Maintain proficiency in **Microsoft Office applications**, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to support documentation, analysis, and executive‑level briefings.
