Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Plumbing / Excavation Manager to oversee daily field operations and manage multiple plumbing and excavation crews. This role is responsible for supervising approximately 10–15 employees across 3–4 crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.You’ll serve as the primary point of contact between field crews, customers, and management, helping coordinate daily operations, resolve customer concerns, monitor job progress, and ensure crews have the equipment and resources needed to get the job done.This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with strong plumbing and excavation knowledge who knows how to manage people, oversee field operations, and keep multiple crews organized and productive.

Key Responsibilities

-   Manage and supervise approximately 10–15 employees across 3–4 plumbing and excavation crews.
-   Oversee daily field operations and ensure crews are properly staffed, scheduled, and prepared for their jobs.
-   Monitor crew performance, productivity, and quality of work.
-   Ensure all jobs are completed on time, safely, and according to company standards.
-   Conduct job site visits to inspect work, address challenges, and ensure proper procedures are being followed.
-   Coordinate with crew leaders to track job progress, schedules, and completion timelines.
-   Handle customer concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally.
-   Work with customers and field teams to resolve issues and maintain a positive customer experience.
-   Track company equipment, tools, vehicles, and materials to ensure everything is accounted for and properly maintained.
-   Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
-   Enforce company safety policies and ensure crews follow proper job site safety procedures.
-   Communicate regularly with management regarding crew performance, job status, equipment needs, and operational challenges.
-   Hold team members accountable for attendance, performance, and quality of work.

## Requirements

-   Previous experience managing or supervising plumbing, excavation, or field service teams.
-   Experience managing multiple crews or field employees.
-   Strong understanding of plumbing and excavation field operations.
-   Ability to coordinate schedules, prioritize work, and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
-   Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-   Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-   Ability to address employee performance issues and hold teams accountable.
-   Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites.
