## Description

We are seeking an accomplished **Procurement Director** to lead procurement strategy and execution for major, complex projects in the **Riyadh, Saudi Arabia**.

The ideal candidate will be a **Western-educated procurement professional** with approximately **25 years of experience**, including significant exposure to **mega projects** and preferably a strong **PMC (Project Management Consultancy) background**.

## Requirements

-   **25+ years of progressive procurement experience**, preferably within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or major capital projects.

-   Western education from a recognized university/institution.
-   Proven track record managing procurement for **mega projects in the GCC**.
-   Strong **PMC experience** is highly preferred.
-   Extensive experience developing and implementing procurement strategies for large, complex projects.
-   Strong understanding of **contracts, tendering, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and supply-chain management**.
-   Demonstrated ability to lead large, multicultural procurement teams and work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
-   Strong knowledge of GCC procurement practices, market conditions, and major international suppliers/contractors.
-   Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
-   Experience working on high-value, fast-paced projects with demanding delivery schedules.
