## Description

JASARA PMC is seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. You will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints while maintaining quality and excellence.

  

### Responsibilities

-   Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
-   Analyze project specifications, proposals, and contracts to assess financial aspects.
-   Monitor project expenditures and provide financial reports and forecasts.
-   Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information.
-   Evaluate bid submissions and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal pricing.
-   Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and evaluate costs.
-   Support project managers in identifying cost-saving opportunities and avoiding budget overruns.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
-   Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
-   Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, contracts, and cost estimation.
-   Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft Excel and project management software.
-   Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
-   A proven track record of working effectively in a team environment.
-   Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices is a plus.
