## Description

Jasper is seeking an Asset Manager with a leasing and project focus to oversee and optimise the performance of our ~$500m portfolio.

This role is central to Jasper's operations, spanning tenant relationships, leasing, capital expenditure, value-add projects and property management oversight. You will collaborate closely with the Investment Manager and external consultants and agents to align asset strategies with our various investment mandates.

There is scope for the right candidate to grow the Asset Management team as the Jasper portfolio continues to expand.

The Asset Manager will be accountable for translating investment strategy into on-the-ground outcomes: stabilising income, driving portfolio leasing execution, improving asset quality, and positioning assets for long-term institutional ownership.

You will have direct exposure to some of the world's largest institutional investors:

-   **Blackstone (JV Partner)**

-   Joint venture focused on value-add industrial and logistics assets in New Zealand
-   Jasper leads acquisitions and ongoing asset and fund management

-   **Stonepeak (JV Partner)**

-   Partnership targeting industrial and logistics investments, including development projects
-   Focus on enhancing value through active asset management and execution

-   **Trilogy Funds (JV Partner)**

-   Partnership across trans-Tasman equity and debt strategies
-   Jasper is responsible for origination, acquisitions, and ongoing fund management in New Zealand

-   **Jasper Private Wealth**

-   Raised over NZD $80 million from wholesale investors and family offices
-   Successfully deployed capital across multiple investment funds

## Requirements

**Education:** Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.

**Experience:** 5+ years in commercial real estate leasing or asset management. Strong existing occupier network a major bonus.

**Skills:**

-   Strong negotiation, communication, and project management abilities.
-   Knowledge of leasing, property operations, and valuations.
-   Familiarity with real estate software (MRI) and data analytics tools an advantage.
-   Advanced financial modelling and underwriting proficiency (Desired).

**Mindset:** Strategic, detail-oriented, and passionate about building long-term relationships.
