### About the Role

The Finance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and leading the finance team to achieve organizational objectives. This role manages financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and internal controls while providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

The Finance Team Lead will also drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead and supervise the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous professional development.
-   Oversee daily accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
-   Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
-   Manage the budgeting and forecasting process while monitoring actual performance against budgets.
-   Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
-   Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
-   Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.
-   Support external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
-   Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
-   Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and operational efficiency.
-   Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial reporting and compliance requirements.
-   Assist senior management in financial planning, risk management, and performance monitoring.
-   Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems, policies, and procedures.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-   Professional certification such as FMVA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
-   5–8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
-   Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
-   Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
-   Experience managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
-   Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
-   High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
-   Experience in the technology, e-commerce, mobility, or service industry is considered an advantage.
