## Description

The Tax Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the company's tax compliance and reporting obligations across Ireland and other European jurisdictions. Working within the Finance team, the role ensures accurate preparation, administration, and filing of tax-related documentation while supporting the Finance team senior leaders in managing corporation, VAT, payroll tax, withholding taxes, and other indirect tax requirements relevant to an international construction business. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across finance, HR, payroll and external consultants and advisors.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

**Tax Compliance**

-   Assist with the preparation and submission of Irish and international VAT returns.
-   Support the preparation of Corporation Tax computations and related schedules.
-   Prepare and reconcile payroll tax information where required.
-   Assist with subcontractor withholding tax compliance and relevant reporting obligations.
-   Monitor tax filing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
-   Maintain tax calendars and ensure timely completion of all compliance activities.
-   Liaise with external tax advisors in Ireland and overseas

**Global Mobility Administration**

-   Coordinate the tax compliance process for internationally mobile employees.
-   Liaise with HR to ensure accurate records of employee assignments, secondments, business travel and international transfers.
-   Monitor assignment start and end dates and ensure all tax and payroll obligations are managed appropriately

**Tax Compliance**

-   Coordinate personal tax return preparation with external tax advisors in Ireland and overseas.
-   Monitor employee tax residency positions.
-   Assist in managing PAYE withholding obligations for internationally mobile employees.
-   Support shadow payroll processes where required.
-   Monitor and assist with tax equalisation calculations.
-   Track employer reporting obligation across the company’s jurisdictions
-   Ensure compliance with Irish Revenue requirements relating to internationally mobile employees.

**Payroll & Social Security**

-   Liaise with Payroll to ensure appropriate tax treatment of internationally mobile employees.
-   Support the administration of A1 Certificates and international social security arrangements.
-   Assist with applications under relevant double taxation and social security agreements.
-   Monitor payroll reporting requirements arising from overseas assignments.

**Business Traveller Compliance**

-   Monitor international business travel activity.
-   Assist in identifying tax, and other payroll liabilities arising from short-term business travel.
-   Support business traveller tracking.
-   Prepare reports for management highlighting potential compliance risks.

**Stakeholder Management**

-   Act as a key point of contact for internationally mobile employees regarding tax administration processes.
-   Liaise with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external advisors.
-   Assist in responding to employee queries relating to mobility tax processes.

**Reporting & Administration**

-   Prepare reports on international assignments and compliance status.
-   Maintain assignment cost trackers.
-   Support internal and external audits relating to international mobility compliance.
-   Prepare tax account reconciliations
-   Assist with month end and year-end tax reporting
-   Support international subsidiary tax compliance
-   Assist in maintaining tax procedures and internal controls.
-   Track tax payments and refunds
-   Prepare ad hoc reports as requested.

**Continuous Improvement**

-   Assist in developing and improving international mobility payroll policies and procedures.
-   Identify opportunities to improve mobility tracking and compliance processes.
-   Identify opportunities to improve tax administration processes.

## Benefits
