# AI Product Engineer (Wholesale Technology Strategy)

## Description

We are looking for a hands-on AI Product Engineer to deliver technology and AI solutions from business requirements to live implementation. This role combines Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Software Engineer capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

·     Gather requirements from business users and translate them into practical solution designs, user stories and delivery plans.

·     Design, develop, test and deploy internal applications, dashboards, automations, workflows and rapid prototypes.

·     Write, troubleshoot and improve code, including APIs, database queries, integrations and front-end or back-end components as required.

·     Use AI tools to accelerate coding, prototyping, testing and documentation while ensuring solution quality and security.

·     Own end-to-end delivery: requirement gathering, development, UAT, user training, go-live, and post-launch improvements.

·     Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, stakeholder updates, and action follow-up.

·     Track user adoption, KPIs, and business benefits of implemented solutions.

·     Support Technology Strategy portfolio tracking, executive updates, and urgent strategic initiatives.

## Requirements

·     Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

·     Strong hands-on development skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, SQL, or similar technologies.

·     Experience developing web applications, automations, dashboards, APIs, databases, or system integrations.

·     Strong ability to use AI-assisted development tools for coding and rapid solution development.

·     Good requirement-gathering, UAT, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

·     Able to communicate clearly with non-technical users in Thai and English.

·     Strong ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work across multiple roles.

**Preferred (Not Required)**

·     Experience with GenAI, LLM applications, AI agents or workflow automation.

·     Experience in retail, commercial, store operations, supply chain or e-commerce.

·     Experience working with vendors and cross functional delivery teams.

**Additional Requirements**

·     Thai nationality.

·     Able and willing to work onsite at Makro Head Office.
