## Description

**Position Summary**

The Data Business Partner (DBP) acts as a strategic bridge between business teams and data/AI capabilities, helping identify, prioritize, and deliver AI, analytics, and automation solutions that create measurable business impact. This role works closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to transform business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities**

-   Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize **AI, analytics, and automation** opportunities.
-   Translate business needs into structured use cases, workflows, and actionable solution requirements.
-   Drive end-to-end delivery of **data and AI** initiatives from ideation through adoption.
-   Manage and prioritize delivery backlog in collaboration with product and technical teams.
-   Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
-   **Define and track business KPIs** to measure solution impact and adoption.
-   Collaborate with **Data Engineering, Analytics, Governance, and IT teams** to ensure solution feasibility and data readiness.
-   **Document business workflows, user journeys, and process improvements** to support scalable transformation.
-   Support continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback and usage insights.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
-   **5+ years** of experience in one or more of the following areas:

-   **Data Business Partner / Analytics Translator**
-   **Product Owner (Data/AI)**
-   **Digital Strategy or Consulting**
-   **AI, Analytics, or Automation Delivery**

-   Strong understanding of **business processes, data analytics, AI/ML, and automation concepts.**
-   Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
-   Ability to **manage stakeholders and communicate** effectively across business and technical teams.
-   Experience defining business requirements, user stories, and KPIs.
-   Familiarity with **SQL, BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and data platforms** is preferred.

**  
Additional Preferred Qualifications**

-   Experience in **retail, e-commerce, supply chain, HR, finance, or customer domains.**
-   Familiarity with **AI/GenAI** use cases and digital transformation initiatives.
-   Experience with backlog management tools such as **Jira and Confluence.**
-   Understanding of **data governance and data quality principles.**
