You are an experienced and confident leader with a strong background in reservations, tourism, or hospitality, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. You bring excellent communication and organisational skills, allowing you to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. With a commercial mindset and sound understanding of revenue management principles, you are comfortable analysing performance and identifying opportunities to optimise results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy leading and developing a team, and take pride in creating a positive, collaborative workplace cultural. Your proactive approach, problem-solving ability, and commitment to service excellence make you well suited to this role.

**About The Role**

The Reservations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the reservations function, ensuring seamless and high-quality booking experiences for all guests. This role focuses on driving revenue and occupancy outcomes through effective inventory management, while leading and developing a high-performing team.

You will play a key role in optimising reservations processes, monitoring performance and forecasting trends, and collaborating closely with internal teams to support overall business objectives. Combining strong operational oversight with a customer-first approach, you will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence across all reservation’s channels.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

-   Manage the reservations team, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
-   Monitor call volume and work closely with Workforce Optimisation Manager to adjust staffing levels as needed to ensure timely and efficient service.
-   Oversee the handling of customer inquiries and bookings, including answering questions, providing quotes, and processing reservations.
-   Attending Disruption Management Team (DMT) meetings and coordinating and communicating the actions for the Disruption with the Travel Centre and broader stakeholders.
-   Ensure that reservations are accurately entered into the system and that all necessary documentation is complete.
-   Monitor and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the booking process.
-   Train new team members on company policies and procedures, as well as industry best practice.
-   Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
