**About The Role**

Captain Cook Cruises, The Jackson and the Starship Group are looking for a Cleaner who takes pride in the details. Before guests step aboard, you’ll make sure our vessels are spotless, safe and ready to sail.

Reporting to the Head of Hospitality, you’ll be an essential part of the team that makes every cruise possible. Day to day, you’ll:

-   Prepare the vessel before each cruise, to schedule and to company standards
-   Clean guest, dining, amenity, crew and outdoor areas, from floors and glass to decks
-   Keep toilets and high-touch surfaces clean, sanitised and stocked
-   Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, in line with your training
-   Sort rubbish and recycling, and move supplies between the vessel and the wharf
-   Support the team and report damage, defects and hazards early

What makes this role special is the setting. You’ll work on Sydney Harbour vessels that guests choose for their most memorable days, from public cruises to private events. Your work is the first thing they notice, and it sets the tone for everything that follows. Every cruise starts with you. **About You**

You’re a hands-on team member who takes pride in the quality of your work and the detail. You can follow verbal and written instructions, including safety instructions and cleaning checklists, and you’re happy to work on your own once you know the task. You’re physically fit and comfortable with standing, bending and lifting.

Previous cleaning experience in hospitality, tourism, marine or commercial settings is desirable but not essential. What matters most is a great attitude, the confidence to work independently, and a genuine passion for doing the job well.
