**About You**

You’re a commercially minded, relationship‑driven sales professional with a genuine connection to New Zealand and a passion for representing iconic, experience‑led travel in market. With a strong understanding of the tourism landscape, you thrive on building partnerships, driving growth and championing premium travel brands.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

-   Previous experience in domestic travel distribution, with a solid understanding of the Australian travel trade
-   Previous experience in sales or business development, ideally within tourism or a related industry
-   Strong relationship‑building, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
-   A commercial mindset, with the ability to plan, forecast and manage budgets effectively
-   Confidence presenting, training and influencing in a B2B environment
-   Excellent organisation, communication and time‑management skills
-   A proactive, creative approach to identifying new sales opportunities
-   The ability to work independently, travel frequently and work outside standard hours
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
-   A current Australian Driver’s Licence
-   Tertiary qualifications in Tourism (desirable but not essential)

Reporting to the Executive Business Development Manager, you’ll own and grow the NSW & ACT portfolio, building strong partnerships and driving sustainable revenue growth as the face of Grand Pacific Tours in market.

This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives on momentum and wants to make a visible impact. This is a hands‑on, high‑energy role where no two days look the same — think agent visits, presentations, events, growth planning and the occasional trip to New Zealand — all within a true field‑based rhythm of four days on the road and one office day, making sure our partners are set up to succeed and our brand shines in market.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

-   Growing revenue and market share through strategic sales activity and campaigns
-   Managing and expanding Platinum and Key Accounts across NSW & ACT
-   Delivering weekly in‑store visits, training and presentations
-   Developing and executing sales and marketing plans with key partners
-   Identifying new business opportunities and income streams
-   Monitoring ROI and managing the state/territory budget
-   Supporting group travel growth in collaboration with internal teams
-   Ensuring agent content, offers and CRM information are always up to date
-   Representing Journey Beyond & Grand Pacific Tours at trade shows, expos and events
-   Promoting and training agents on key tools, including the GPT Agent Portal and Live Availability
-   Building relationships with senior organisations and industry bodies
-   Hosting familiarisation trips to New Zealand
