Our Rail Division, previously known as Great Southern Rail (“GSR”) operates Australia’s iconic rail journeys, The Ghan, Indian Pacific, The Overland and Great Southern.

There are very few global journeys considered national treasures, but our trains are, without question, iconic Australian experiences. From the moment our guests (and potentially you!) step aboard these legendary trains, you can feel it – a spirit of adventure and a sense of something very special about to unfold.

**About The Role**

Your role is to help make our guest's journey one to remember! You'll be part of a team, sharing special places and shaping lasting memories as you travel through some of Australia's most incredible landscapes.

From serving up delicious meals and drinks in our restaurants and bars, to welcoming guests, keeping our carriages looking their best and hosting off train adventures, there's plenty of variety. No two days are the same!

You'll need to be happy rolling up your sleeves, helping out wherever is needed and working away from home for up to seven days at a time.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will:

-   Be passionate about the hospitality industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service;
-   Know your stuff, you’ve had fine dining or a la carte experience, been recognised for your strengths in guest service – you see everything through a guest centric lens;
-   Have an energy that’s dynamic and you have fun when you work – your smile will say it all;
-   Have all the safety things we need, like an RSA and a First aid certificate (or willing to obtain).
