## Description

For a Leading Dry Bulk Shipping Company: Senior Chartering Manager

**Responsibilities**

-   Handle all chartering activity for cargo bookings (prompt / forward / COAs) with a strong focus on Atlantic markets (ATL)
-   Develop and manage a strong cargo portfolio, including short trips, BH (Backhaul), and FH (Front haul) opportunities
-   Build and lead a new chartering team specializing in ATL trading
-   Engage with the market weekly with fresh cargoes to cover
-   Monitor and expand FFA (Forward Freight Agreements) activity, either as a hedge or to pursue commercial opportunities
-   Represent the company at commercial and industry events

## Requirements

-   Minimum 10 years of experience in dry bulk chartering
-   Proven track record in developing and maintaining a cargo book
-   Strong exposure to Atlantic market cargo trading
-   Experience with COAs and spot/forward bookings
-   Leadership skills and team management experience
-   Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
