### Overview

We are seeking a Venture Data & Investment Operations Manager to own and continuously improve the operational systems that power our venture platform.

This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of venture operations, data infrastructure, reporting, and investment analytics. You will serve as the internal owner of our data environment, ensuring our systems are accurate, scalable, and actionable, while helping the team make faster, smarter decisions through better workflows, reporting, and automation.

The ideal candidate is equal parts systems builder, data operator, and venture-savvy analytical thinker who enjoys creating structure in fast-moving environments.

### Key Responsibilities

### _Data Systems & Infrastructure_

-   Own and administer the firm’s Airtable environment across:

-   Deal flow and pipeline management
-   Due diligence workflows
-   LP / investor relationship management
-   Fundraising pipeline tracking
-   Portfolio company monitoring
-   Investment reporting
-   Ecosystem and network intelligence

-   Maintain exceptionally clean, accurate, and standardized datasets across platforms
-   Build scalable database architecture, linked records, views, permissions, and workflows
-   Establish and enforce data governance standards and operating procedures
-   Conduct ongoing audits and cleanup of investment and CRM data

### _Automation & AI Workflow Development_

-   Build and manage integrations across tools such as:

-   Airtable
-   HubSpot
-   Slack
-   Google Workspace
-   Zapier / Make
-   AI tooling and APIs

-   Identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual work and improve team efficiency
-   Leverage AI to improve workflows such as::

-   Investment research
-   Founder and company intelligence
-   Meeting summaries
-   Pipeline prioritization
-   Reporting automation
-   Investment memo support
-   Ecosystem communications and content workflows

### _Reporting & Investment Analytics_

-   Build executive dashboards and reporting systems for:

-   Deal pipeline visibility
-   Fundraising activity
-   Investor engagement
-   Portfolio performance tracking
-   KPI monitoring
-   Investment committee preparation

-   Support quarterly investor reporting and portfolio data collection
-   Track venture performance metrics including:

-   Ownership
-   Portfolio marks
-   TVPI / DPI / IRR
-   Follow-on participation
-   Portfolio operating metrics

-   Support scenario analysis around portfolio performance, reserves, and follow-on investment decisions
-   Create clean reporting views for internal leadership and external stakeholders
-   Support investment team workflows through structured systems and process management
-   Help maintain organized diligence pipelines, deal records, and reporting infrastructure
-   Improve investment team efficiency through better process design and workflow automation
-   Support investment team operations through structured data systems and reporting
-   Help create scalable operating infrastructure as the firm grows

Within the first 12 months:

-   Airtable becomes a trusted source of truth across the organization
-   Investment, fundraising, and investor data is consistently clean and actionable

-   Leadership has stronger real-time visibility into pipeline and portfolio performance

## Requirements

-   3+ years of experience in:

-   Airtable administration
-   Data operations
-   RevOps
-   Venture operations
-   Business systems
-   Fund Operations
-   Analytics

-   Advanced Airtable experience including:

-   Complex relational databases
-   Automations
-   Interfaces
-   Formulas
-   API integrations

-   Strong understanding of venture capital or startup ecosystems
-   Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
-   Experience building dashboards and operational reporting systems
-   Strong attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy
-   Strong organizational and project management skills
-   Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
-   Familiarity with venture capital workflows, terminology, and investment processes
