## Description

Safwat Aljouf is a food industry business seeking a hands-on procurement professional to support efficient purchasing, strong supplier relationships, and reliable inventory availability. This role plays an important part in helping the business maintain product quality, control costs, and keep operations running smoothly through disciplined procurement practices and effective use of Odoo ERP.

As Procurement Specialist for Food, you will help strengthen purchasing operations across supplier sourcing, stock planning, and day-to-day procurement execution. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to support continuity of supply, improve purchasing efficiency, and contribute to a well-organized, cost-conscious procurement function.

### Responsibilities

-   Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.
-   Source and evaluate suppliers, with a strong focus on food products and related supplies.
-   Compare prices and identify cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
-   Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
-   Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
-   Coordinate closely with warehouse and operations teams regarding stock requirements.
-   Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
-   Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.
-   Use Odoo ERP for purchasing, inventory tracking, and reporting.
-   Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve procurement efficiency.

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications

-   Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
-   Hands-on experience in food procurement within food manufacturing, food distribution, FMCG, catering, or restaurant environments.
-   Experience monitoring inventory levels and managing replenishment to support product availability.
-   Experience in supplier sourcing, price benchmarking, and direct supplier negotiation.
-   Proven ability to help establish or develop a procurement function and build purchasing processes from scratch.
-   Experience transitioning procurement operations from manual processes to an ERP or system-based workflow.
-   Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia.

-   Experience using Odoo is a plus.
