### Job Summary

We are looking for a highly driven SDE II to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on expertise in Python, solid backend engineering fundamentals, and the adaptability to contribute to scalable fintech systems. You will play a key role in building robust applications, taking ownership of features, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, services, and APIs primarily using Python.
-   Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
-   Leverage modern coding tools and frameworks to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code.
-   Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and the implementation of engineering best practices.
-   Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features—from design and development to deployment and monitoring.
-   Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for a smooth user experience.

## Requirements

### Requirements for the Role

### Must Have

-   2-4 years of hands-on software development experience in backend or full-stack engineering roles.
-   Strong programming expertise in Python and related frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
-   Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
-   Proven problem-solving ability with a strong focus on code quality, security, and scalability.
-   High ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive outcomes and deliver results.
-   Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams.

### Good to Have

-   Experience working with AWS or other cloud service providers.
-   Familiarity with database design (both relational SQL and NoSQL databases).
-   Prior exposure to building and deploying cloud-native applications and microservices.
-   Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern DevOps practices.
-   Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus.
