## Description

Our client is a global industrial maintenance services provider working with major manufacturers around the world. They are now investing in North America and are hiring a Vice President to lead and grow their business across the United States and Mexico.

This is a builder role. The company is in a period of transformation, and processes, structures and teams are still being shaped. You will have the mandate, the visibility and the ownership to put your stamp on the region: winning major new contracts, expanding into new territories and building a high-performing organization around you.

If you thrive in environments where you create the playbook rather than follow one, this is your opportunity.

**Key Responsibilities**

_**Grow the business**_

- Own full P&L for the North America market area, including sites, contracts and commercial performance
- Find, pursue and close large, strategic maintenance service contracts with industrial customers
- Expand the business into new regions and customer segments across the US and Mexico
- Lead complex negotiations, major bids and contract renewals, targeting 100% renewal
- Turn the regional business plan into clear performance targets, and deliver on them

_**Build the organization**_

- Lead and develop the Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Site Managers and operational teams
- Design a scalable organization, leadership structure and processes to support profitable growth
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement
- Drive competence development, skills mapping and succession planning

_**Lead with safety**_

- Set a strong, visible safety culture across all sites
- Ensure full HSE compliance, and integrate safety and risk management into every business decision
- Move site operations toward world-class HSE performance

_**Deliver for customers**_

- Build long-term, strategic customer relationships based on measurable value
- Ensure every contract delivers what was promised, and adapt to customers’ changing needs

## Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in industrial services, maintenance services or a related field, including senior leadership
- Proven track record of winning and growing large, complex service contracts
- Strong P&L ownership with measurable business results
- Experience in maintenance, reliability or asset management services
- Strong negotiation skills with strategic customers, complex contracts and major bids
- Experience leading multi-site teams and leading across cultures
- Comfortable in a building or transformation environment, with the drive to create structure where none exists yet
- Strong commitment to safety leadership
- Willing and able to travel about 50% across the US and Mexico
- Authorized to work in the United States

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (a Master’s degree is a plus)
- Experience with an industrial maintenance or asset management services provider
- Working proficiency in Spanish
- Experience with operational excellence methods such as Six Sigma, TPM or RCM
- Experience growing a regional business in a turnaround, start-up or high-growth setting
- Experience working within an international organization
- Network within US manufacturing industries outside Kentucky
