> Keller Executive Search · Kingswinford, United Kingdom · Full-time · Posted 2026-07-22

**Salary:** GBP 145,000–165,000

**Workplace:** on_site

**Department:** R-GN

## Description

Our client is a global manufacturer of plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (PHAR) fittings, valves, and flow control solutions, with a manufacturing footprint across multiple European sites and a long-standing reputation for engineering excellence and durable customer relationships.

This role has been created to provide global commercial leadership across the group's international business units. You will report directly to the Group CEO and work closely with Business Unit Directors across all regions, aligning sales activity, strengthening strategic customer relationships, identifying new growth opportunities, and establishing commercial best practice across every market. You will not hold direct regional P&L, but you will be accountable for ensuring every region delivers against its budget and growth plan.

In your first 90 to 180 days, you will focus on building strong relationships with Business Unit Directors, senior leadership, and key global customers, and reviewing regional sales performance, forecasts, and pipelines to identify where structured improvement plans would add the most value.

**Responsibilities:**

- Reviewing and challenging regional sales plans and forecasts, and ensuring every Business Unit Director has a clear action plan to hit or beat budget
- Tracking global market trends and competitor activity, and identifying new customers, markets, and product opportunities
- Maintaining a rolling 24-month global opportunity pipeline and recommending growth strategies to the CEO and Board
- Providing strategic direction for global marketing, including campaigns, digital initiatives, exhibitions, and lead generation
- Building and maintaining executive-level relationships with the company's most strategic customers
- Working with the Commercial Director to protect pricing discipline and margins, and supporting major contract negotiations
- Partnering with the Supply Chain Director to improve service levels and delivery performance
- Working with Manufacturing and Engineering on new product development, representing the voice of the customer throughout
- Providing regular updates to the CEO and presenting to the Board on performance, forecasts, risks, and strategy

This role involves extensive travel throughout the year across the group's locations. You will ideally be based in the UK, close to the executive team, though the company is open to a strong candidate based at one of its other locations in Italy, Poland, Germany, or Spain, provided that person already holds the right to work there on a permanent basis.

## Requirements

- Industry experience within plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (PHAR), or a closely related building products or HVAC sector
- Proven international B2B sales leadership experience, including leading multi-region commercial teams and delivering profitable revenue growth
- A demonstrated record of building strategic customer relationships, driving commercial excellence, and influencing senior regional leaders without holding direct P&L authority
- At least 15 years of international B2B sales leadership experience
- At least 5 years as a Global Sales Director, VP Sales, Commercial Director, or equivalent
- A track record of leading multi-region commercial organizations and delivering profitable revenue growth and market share gains
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA or postgraduate qualification in business or commercial management is a plus)
- Experience working across Europe and global distribution networks, and experience in engineering-led manufacturing businesses, are both helpful but not required

**Skills:**

- Strong command of global sales strategy and execution, strategic account management, forecasting, budgeting, and pricing and margin management
- Cross-functional leadership experience with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams
- Sharp analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Comfort operating at Board and executive level
- Fluent, business-level English is essential; Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, or German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular, ongoing basis

## Benefits

- Base salary is £145,000 to £165,000, with the top of the range reserved for an exceptional candidate.
- Annual bonus scheme, incremental up to a maximum of 50% of base salary, based on budget being reached and above
- Paid leave ranges from 21 to 30 days annually depending on location
- Retirement plan, benefits vary by location
- Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate relocating to the UK; candidates based in other locations must already hold the legal right to live and work there on a permanent basis.
