## Description

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to provide practical legal advice across commercial, corporate, employment, and operational matters. This role is ideal for a commercially minded lawyer who can balance legal risk with business priorities and support a growing organization with clear, reliable guidance. You will work closely with leadership and internal teams to review contracts, manage legal documentation, and support governance across the business. This is a fully on-site position based in central Paris.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial, corporate, contractual, employment, and operational matters
-   Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including supplier agreements, customer contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
-   Support corporate governance processes, board documentation, entity administration, and statutory filings
-   Partner with HR on employment law matters, policy updates, employee relations cases, and contractual documentation
-   Advise on data protection, confidentiality, intellectual property, and regulatory obligations relevant to the business
-   Coordinate with external counsel on specialist matters, litigation, tax, employment, and cross-border legal issues
-   Maintain contract databases, legal registers, document templates, and internal legal process documentation
-   Identify legal risks and provide practical recommendations to reduce exposure
-   Support internal training and awareness on key legal and compliance topics
-   Ensure legal processes are timely, organized, and aligned with business needs

### Responsabilités principales

-   Fournir des conseils juridiques aux parties prenantes internes sur les sujets commerciaux, corporate, contractuels, sociaux et opérationnels
-   Rédiger, examiner et négocier divers contrats, notamment des accords fournisseurs, contrats clients, accords de confidentialité et contrats de services

-   Collaborer avec les RH sur les sujets de droit social, les mises à jour de politiques, les situations de relations collaborateurs et la documentation contractuelle
-   Conseiller sur la protection des données, la confidentialité, la propriété intellectuelle et les obligations réglementaires pertinentes
-   Coordonner les échanges avec les conseils externes sur les sujets spécialisés, contentieux, fiscaux, sociaux et transfrontaliers
-   Maintenir les bases de contrats, registres juridiques, modèles de documents et procédures juridiques internes
-   Identifier les risques juridiques et formuler des recommandations pratiques pour réduire l’exposition
-   Soutenir les formations internes et la sensibilisation sur les principaux sujets juridiques et de conformité
-   Garantir des processus juridiques organisés, réactifs et alignés avec les besoins business

## Requirements

-   Qualified lawyer with a degree in Law and admission to practice in France or another relevant jurisdiction
-   Fluent in English and French, written and verbal
-   Strong experience in an in-house legal role or reputable law firm environment
-   Solid knowledge of French commercial, corporate, and employment law principles
-   Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
-   Ability to provide clear, practical advice to non-legal stakeholders
-   Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
-   Comfortable working in a hands-on, business-facing legal role

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience in a regulated, financial, professional services, or international business environment
-   Exposure to GDPR, corporate governance, and cross-border commercial contracts
-   Previous experience working with senior executives or board-level stakeholders
-   Familiarity with contract management tools and legal operations processes
-   Experience managing external counsel and legal budgets

-   Expérience dans la rédaction, l’examen et la négociation de contrats commerciaux
-   Capacité à fournir des conseils clairs et pratiques à des interlocuteurs non juridiques
-   Bon jugement, discrétion et grande attention aux détails
-   Capacité à travailler dans un rôle juridique opérationnel et proche du business

### Qualifications souhaitées

-   xpérience dans un environnement réglementé, financier, services professionnels ou international
-   Exposition au RGPD, à la gouvernance d’entreprise et aux contrats commerciaux transfrontaliers
-   Expérience préalable avec des dirigeants seniors ou des parties prenantes au niveau du conseil
-   Familiarité avec les outils de gestion des contrats et les processus d’opérations juridiques
-   Expérience dans la gestion des conseils externes et des budgets juridiques

## Benefits

-   Base Salary: €75,000 to €105,000 gross per annum, commensurate with experience
-   Leave: 25 days paid annual leave in line with French statutory entitlements, plus RTT days applicable to the role
