## Description

Our Aberdeen facility is seeking a Packing Chargehand to help drive production efficiency and uphold our commitment to quality and safety.

As a **Packing Chargehand**, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our packing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead by example, maintaining high standards and supporting your team to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities include:

-   Maintaining health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the packing department
-   Operating and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
-   Inspecting and evaluating product suitability for packaging according to company and customer specifications
-   Supporting the planning, monitoring, and control of resources to meet production targets
-   Managing waste and ensuring compliance with environmental standards
-   Completing duties within required timescales to achieve daily production goals
-   Contributing to the training and development of team members and self
-   Monitoring department housekeeping, tidiness, and fabric maintenance
-   Carrying out additional duties as directed by the Production Manager or Directors

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications:

-   2+ years of experience in a high-volume food processing factory
-   Experience in a packing or production leadership role (such as chargehand, line leader, or supervisor) within a manufacturing environment
-   Work experience in food production or meat processing manufacturing environments
-   Ability to work in a chilled environment
-   Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely
-   Food Safety certification
-   Fluent English (written and spoken)
-   Right to work in the United Kingdom
-   Availability to start work at 6:00am and flexibility for variable finishing times
