Design Sheetmetal is seeking reliable and safety-focused Loaders to join our production and dispatch team in Victoria, with opportunities across Afternoon and Night Shift.

As a leading Australian manufacturer of roofing, cladding, flashings, and sheet metal products, we pride ourselves on quality, safety, and reliable customer service.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in preparing customer orders and ensuring steel products are loaded safely and accurately for dispatch.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely loading and unloading trucks using forklifts

• Picking, checking, and preparing customer orders

• Handling steel products and securing loads for transport

• Completing forklift pre-start inspections

• Receiving and storing incoming materials

• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment

• Supporting production and dispatch teams to meet delivery schedules

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Current LF Forklift Licence

• Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, or dispatch

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Good attention to detail and reliability

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Experience handling steel products, load restraint, or warehouse systems will be highly regarded.

**Available Shift Hours**

**Afternoon Shift:** 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday to Friday

**Night Shift:**  
• Sunday: 10:00pm – 6:00am

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00pm – 5:00am
