### **Practice Nurse | Key Health**

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused **Practice Nurse** to join our growing team and work with Key Health. 

**Current vacancies include:**

**Key Health Practices - casual, part time, or full time.**

Enjoy the flexibility to work across some or all our current practices! Be part of the patient journey in a supportive general practice environment, working closely with doctors and the wider team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.

**Key Health St Leonards - part time (4 days), or full time (5 days).**

Assist with Chronic Disease Management, Women's and Children's Health. Close to public transport hubs and Royal North Shore Hospital. 

**Key Health CBD South - casual, part time (2-4 days), or full time (5 days).**

Our multidisciplinary flagship practice, where you can assist with Women's Health Procedures, Travel Vaccinations, and Chronic Disease Management. We also offer cross training in Clinical Trials and Pre-employment Medicals. 

**Key Health Bondi Junction - part time (4 days), or full time (5 days).**

Assist with Skin Procedures and Chronic Disease Management. Cross training available for Clinical Trials. 

**Key Health Redfern - part time (4 days) or full time (5 days).**

This would suit an individual who enjoys variety, including assisting with Reception, Chronic Disease Management, and promoting positive Indigenous Health outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Practice Nurse, your duties will include:

-   Providing clinical care in line with professional and safety standards
-   Conducting immunisations, wound care, health assessments, and triage
-   Supporting chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives
-   Assisting doctors with procedures and clinical tasks
-   Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
-   Ensuring infection control procedures and policies are followed
-   Managing clinical equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms
-   Supporting quality improvement activities and practice accreditation
-   Educating patients on health management, treatments, and preventative care
-   Supporting and guiding other staff as required

**About You**

You are a proactive and organised nurse who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and maintaining high safety standards.

**Essential:**

-   Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse)
-   Current CPR certification
-   Current professional indemnity insurance
-   Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Desirable:**

-   Experience in general practice or primary healthcare
-   Experience in chronic disease management and health assessments
-   Familiarity with Best Practice software
