We are looking for an experienced **Factory Foreman – Machine Operator** to join our Lismore team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily factory operations while operating production machinery and ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely manufacture of quality products.

**This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:40 PM.**

**About the Role**

As the Factory Foreman – Machine Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supervising factory staff, and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Working closely with the Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining an efficient manufacturing operation while supporting and developing your team.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Supervise the day-to-day operations of the factory floor
-   Lead, coach, and support the production team to achieve daily production targets
-   Operate roll-forming and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
-   Coordinate workflow and allocate resources to maximise productivity
-   Ensure products meet Metroll's quality standards and customer requirements
-   Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture
-   Monitor machine performance and assist with troubleshooting and basic maintenance
-   Support the onboarding and training of new employees
-   Work closely with the Branch Manager to improve productivity and operational performance
-   Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

**About You**

-   Previous experience in a Foreman, Leading Hand, Team Leader, or supervisory role within manufacturing
-   Strong experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment
-   Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a production team
-   Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality systems
-   Excellent communication and organisational skills
-   Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilities
-   Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
-   Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
