## **Factory Manager | Toowoomba, QLD**

KG Talent is recruiting a Factory Manager on behalf of a leading Australian manufacturer of steel building products based in Toowoomba.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows manufacturing, enjoys working closely with their team and takes pride in running a safe, efficient and productive factory.

You’ll oversee daily factory operations, keep production on track and make sure the team has what it needs to deliver quality products on time.

**What you’ll be doing**

-   Oversee daily factory operations and production schedules
-   Lead, coach and support the factory team
-   Keep production running safely, efficiently and to plan
-   Monitor output, quality, workflow and deadlines
-   Drive workplace health and safety standards
-   Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and production priorities
-   Identify and implement improvements to reduce downtime and waste
-   Ensure products meet quality requirements
-   Work closely with warehouse, sales and transport teams to meet customer commitments
-   Address production issues and keep jobs moving
-   Maintain a clean, organised and well-run factory

**About you**

You’re a practical, organised leader who leads by example and knows how to get the best out of a team.

You’ll bring:

-   Experience in factory management, production supervision or manufacturing leadership
-   Strong people leadership and communication skills
-   Understanding of production planning, workflow and quality control
-   A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
-   The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems
-   A focus on productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement
-   A hands-on approach and the confidence to make decisions

Experience in steel manufacturing, roll forming or building products will be highly regarded.
