Metroll Perth is seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to lead and optimise our manufacturing and transport operations across two sites in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for end-to-end operations, including manufacturing, warehousing, transport, safety, financial performance, and continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service performance across the business.

You’ll lead high-performing teams across both sites, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement while delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

**What You’ll Be Responsible For**

-   Leading and overseeing manufacturing, warehouse, and transport operations across two sites
-   Managing operational performance, workforce planning, and workflow optimisation
-   Full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and control
-   Driving operational cost efficiency and identifying productivity improvement opportunities
-   Leading safety culture with a clear focus on achieving zero lost time injuries
-   Delivering DIFOT targets of 100% through strong planning and execution
-   Managing production performance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
-   Implementing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
-   Driving material usage accuracy and minimising scrap and waste across operations
-   Leading, coaching, and developing operational leaders and frontline teams
-   Managing plant, equipment, and maintenance planning to maximise uptime
-   Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
-   Ensuring compliance with all operational, safety, and quality standards

**What We’re Looking For**

-   Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, transport, or industrial operations
-   Experience managing multi-site or complex operational environments
-   Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX management
-   Demonstrated success in driving safety performance and operational excellence
-   Strong understanding of production systems, supply chain, and dispatch operations
-   Hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage teams at all levels
-   Strong capability in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles
-   Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
