Kids Science Labs (www.kidssciencelabs.com), the world leader in hands-on science education, is seeking to hire our next great Birthday Party Team Lead. We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals who can guide our birthday team members to deliver an exceptional birthday party experience to kids and their families on the weekends.

In addition to our normal classes, camps, and field trips, Kids Science Labs delivers the most fun and exciting birthday experiments for kids 4-12. These parties are 75-105 minute events, where our team delivers a memorable and exciting hands-on experience by engaging with groups of 10-30 kids in hands-on science.

This candidate will know the ins and outs of delivering a truly memorable event at KSL and will guide our other team members to execute the plan flawlessly. The Birthday Team is comprised of 3-4 individuals, who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional customer experience for our guests. As a team lead, you will help to guide these members in accordance with the needs of the birthday family and the support of the Customer Engagement Team.

**This is a Part-Time position that requires Saturday and/or Sunday availability.**

## Requirements

_**Successful Team Lead candidates are:**_

-   Available both Saturday/Sundays
-   Exceptional at providing customer service, preferably in childcare (babysitting), theater, or education
-   Organized and dependable
-   Proactive leaders with strong communication skills
-   Flexible; able to learn and adapt quickly
-   Passionate with a positive attitude
-   Strong believers in KSL's mission

_**As a KSL Team Lead, you will be expected to:**_

-   Successfully delegate tasks and lead the Birthday Team through the dynamic environment of a birthday party
-   Communicate well both verbally and via electronic communication
-   Demonstrate exceptional customer service by managing the parent and child experience
-   Schedule Birthday Team members using Homebase
-   Coordinate with the Customer Engagement Team to understand any birthday customer requests
-   Ensure the Birthday Team is set up for success with proper prep, information, and materials
-   HAVE FUN, laugh, and engage kids and families!
