# Cybersecurity Tools Analyst

## Description

-   Enable cybersecurity by maintaining operational security posture and ensures information systems security policies, standards and procedures are established and followed
-   Ensure that Windows, Linux, and various application logs are being collected, forwarded, parsed, and reviewed with Elasticsearch
-   Conduct vulnerability assessments on containers and analyze, research, and prioritize CVEs and their remediation
-   Work closely with a team of engineers, including additional system administrators, network engineers, system engineers, and cybersecurity engineers, to provide high quality, innovative engineering services to the Government customer
-   Work with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions
-   Assist with the planning and implementation of cybersecurity best practices within automated workflows and processes
-   Provide subject matter expertise on cyber requirements, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Requirement Guide (SRG), JFHQ DoDIN Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO
-   Perform other duties to support RMF, A&A, and JSIG requirements as needed
-   Other duties as assigned

## Requirements

**Education/Training:** 

-   Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or science discipline preferred
-   Active Security+ certification required
-   Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Analyst, or relevant Elastic certifications preferred

**Experience:**

-   4+ years of general (full-time) work experience required
-   2+ years of directly related experience
-   Experience may be reduced with completion of advanced education
-   Familiarity with JSIG and SAP requirements required
-   Experience with Elasticsearch required
-   Experience with endpoint security solutions required
-   Experience implementing and configuring STIGs required

**Security:**

-   Must be a US citizen
-   Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance

**Physical Requirements:**

-   Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
-   Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
-   Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
-   Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

**Salary:** $128,000 - 136,000
