# Maintenance Planner > Kleen Test Products · Port Washington, United States · Full-time · Posted 2026-05-01 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** Office ## Description ### **Maintenance Planner** **Location:** Port Washington, WI - 1st shift hours M-F **Company:** Kleen Test Products (KTP) **About the Role:** Kleen Test Products (KTP) is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner with at least four years of experience supporting high-speed packaging, processing, or manufacturing equipment. This position will support our maintenance department which runs 24/7 across 3 shifts.  The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who is able to work well with different departments. We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise and the ability to apply electrical and mechanical principles in hands-on environments, paired with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. ### **Key Responsibilities** - Uphold safety, health, and environmental standards, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations at all times. - Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize efficiency, including identifying required parts, materials, tools, and external services. - Analyze maintenance and operational data, prepare reports, and provide actionable recommendations to improve equipment reliability and plant performance. - Procure and manage parts, supplies, and inventory to ensure timely execution of maintenance work. - Develop and manage maintenance schedules, establishing benchmarks for safety, efficiency, and reliability. - Oversee invoices, purchase orders, contractor work, and ongoing work orders to ensure accuracy and completion. - Maintain and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, labor allocation, and contractor utilization. - Support and track Bottom Line Impact Projects (BLIPs) to drive operational and cost improvements. - Manage Group Sheets and Purchase Order Requests (PORs) to maintain workflow accuracy and financial tracking. - Serve as a liaison between the company and external vendors to coordinate services and maintain strong partnerships. - Provide backup support to the Maintenance Manager as needed to ensure continuity of operations. ## Requirements - Requires a high school diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree or certificate in maintenance or skilled trade is preferred. - Prior experience (4 years) in maintenance, or related area, with high-speed packaging, processing, or other manufacturing equipment. - Requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. - Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner. - Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities. - Strong project management skills. - Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail. - Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone. - Requires strong technical ability, able to take basic electrical and mechanical principles and apply to hands on situations. - Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information. - Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google suite, Microsoft Outlook, CMMS, and accounting/costing systems. ## Benefits Culture - Safety is KTP's top priority - everyone should go home in the same condition they came to work - KTP builds collaborative relationships that strengthen the overall work environment - Opportunity for growth, development and advancement within each department, or across departments - Fast-paced environment, constantly changing, and the days go by quickly!
