## Description

**KTP is proud to offer a Production Intern Program that gives candidates a chance to develop skills in the workforce.**  This is a great chance for candidates to have exposure to a fast-paced production environment and develop relationships that could help them identify their future career path.  Kleen Test takes pride in being a team-oriented culture with a family atmosphere, which is a great place to learn, grow, and succeed.   

**Wondering who can participate?**  Here are the program requirements:

\- Must be recommended by a KTP employee

\- Must be at least 16 years old 

\- Interns may not work for or directly report to a family member

**Shift and Hours:**

1st shift, 7AM to 3PM, Monday through Friday.

**Key Responsibilities:**

·        Perform packing duties including palletizing, stacking, and packing cases.

·        Assist with supplying packaging material for the line with the material handler or machine operator.

·        Complete cleaning/sanitization of work area according to established guidelines.

·        Maintain a safe, clean, organized production line and work area.

·        Assist with waste removal from line and/or plant.

·        Observe all safety and quality procedures while completing required duties.

·        Process all required paperwork accurately and timely.

·        Other duties as assigned by Supervision.

## Requirements

-   Must be recommended by a KTP employee.
-   Must be at least 16 years old

-   Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to complete daily reports and correspondences.  Ability to effectively communicate to co-workers and supervisor.
-   Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractures, and decimals. 
-   Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
