> KRUSH Labs B.V. · Eindhoven, Netherlands · Full-time · Posted 2026-08-20

**Workplace:** on_site

**Department:** Research & Development

## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on **Electronics Technician & ECAD Library Specialist** to bridge the gap between physical hardware prototyping and digital design data. In this hybrid role, you will split your time between traditional electronics lab technician duties (soldering, prototyping, debugging, and testing) and managing our centralized Altium Designer ECAD component library. You will ensure our engineering team has access to accurate, manufacturer-vetted, and IPC-compliant digital components while maintaining a highly functional R&D electronics laboratory.

### **Key Responsibilities**

**ECAD Library & Component Management**

- **Component Creation:** Create and maintain high-quality schematic symbols, PCB footprints (land patterns), and 3D STEP models within the Altium 365 cloud ecosystem.
- **Standards Compliance:** Utilize the Altium IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard to design land patterns matching IPC-7351B/C standards, ensuring high manufacturing and assembly yields.
- **Data Integrity & Verification:** Cross-reference manufacturer datasheets to verify pin-to-pad mappings, thermal pad sizing, and mechanical clearances.
- **Lifecycle & Supply Chain Management:** Link components to live supplier data via Altium Manufacturer Part Search. Monitor and manage part lifecycles, tracking obsolescence (EOL) and Product Change Notices (PCNs).
- **Workflow Administration:** Act as the gatekeeper for the corporate library, processing part requests from engineering and steering components through the review, verification, and release phases.

**Electronics Lab & Prototyping Support**

- **PCBA Assembly & Rework:** Perform high-precision manual soldering and rework of surface-mount technology (SMT) components down to 0402/0201 packages, QFNs, and BGAs.
- **Testing & Troubleshooting:** Assist engineers in bringing up, debugging, and testing prototype printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) using oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
- **Documentation:** Build and maintain clear assembly instructions, rework documentation, and test logs.

## Requirements

**Required Experience**

- **Education:** Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent military training or 3+ years of professional hands-on experience will also be considered.
- **CAD Tools:** Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience using **Altium Designer** (experience with Altium 365 or Concord Pro workspace libraries is highly preferred).
- **Datasheet Literacy:** Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret complex electronic component datasheets, mechanical drawings, and packaging specifications.
- **Soldering Expertise:** Strong manual soldering and rework skills for fine-pitch SMT components. IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification is a major plus.

**Technical Competencies**

- Familiarity with IPC-7351 guidelines for PCB land pattern design.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits, passive components, semiconductors, and connectors.
- Experience integrating generic 3D STEP models into ECAD footprints for mechanical collision checks.
- Solid organizational skills with an emphasis on data taxonomy, structured naming conventions, and revision control.
