## Description

Kubicki Draper is seeking an experienced **Senior Construction Litigation Attorney** with **7+ years of litigation experience** to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling complex construction-related disputes and managing matters through all phases of litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to take a lead role on cases while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

## Requirements

-   7+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in construction litigation
-   Experience handling matters involving construction defects, contractor and subcontractor disputes, property damage, contract disputes, and related claims preferred
-   Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
-   Significant experience handling discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and motion practice
-   Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
-   Strong organizational and case-management skills
-   Commitment to providing exceptional client service
-   Active member of the Florida Bar and in good standing

### Your Day-to-Day

-   Manage complex construction litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution
-   Develop case strategy and provide clients with clear recommendations regarding exposure, defenses, and resolution options
-   Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and discovery
-   Take and defend depositions
-   Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings
-   Work with experts, consultants, contractors, and other professionals throughout the litigation process
-   Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case developments and strategy
-   Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and members of the litigation team
