Overview

We’re hiring experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing precision manufacturing operation.

This is a clean, modern, highly professional shop running advanced 3-, 4-, and true 5-axis CNC equipment, including DMG, Makinos and more. Candidates who visit the facility regularly come away impressed by the quality of the operation, the equipment, and the overall working environment.

You’ll receive meaningful hands-on training to get you quickly up to speed on the operation, processes, and equipment. From there, you’ll be trusted to work independently, setting up your machines, making adjustments, verifying quality, and owning the machining process throughout your shift.

This is a high-mix, low-volume environment, so the work stays varied. You won’t spend every day standing at the same machine running the same part.

Compensation

-   $75,000 - 85,000 / yr annual
-   After shift differential and schedule

Shift

-   2nd Shift
-   Monday–Friday
-   10 hour / day schedule

Responsibilities

-   CNC Setups: Perform independent machine setups and fixture changeovers
-   Machine Operation: Operate multiple CNC machines throughout the shift
-   Process Adjustments: Make tool wear offsets and machining adjustments as needed
-   Quality Inspection: Complete first-piece and in-process inspections
-   Precision Measurement: Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment
-   Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and detailed work instructions
-   Production Documentation: Accurately record inspection results and production information
-   Machine Readiness: Maintain coolant, lubrication, tooling, and general machine readiness

Qualifications

### Required

-   2+ years of CNC milling and/or lathe experience
-   Independent CNC setup experience
-   Strong blueprint reading skills
-   Experience holding tight tolerances
-   Precision measuring tool experience
-   Basic CMM inspection experience
-   Reliable attendance

### Preferred

-   Experience in high-precision manufacturing environments
-   Hands-on 5-axis machining experience
-   DMG, Makino, Mikron, or Robodrill experience
-   Strong GD&T knowledge
-   ISO 9001 manufacturing experience
-   Technical or trade school education
-   Stable employment history
