## Description

**Overview**

We're hiring CNC Machinists for our precision manufacturing shop.

You'll run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines producing ultra-precise inserts for the machining industry, holding extremely tight tolerances on every part. The work happens in a clean, organized, temperature-controlled facility.

Grinding experience isn't required. If your CNC fundamentals are solid – setups, feeds and speeds, blueprint reading, GD&T — we'll train you on high-precision grinding and advanced multi-axis equipment.

**Compensation**

-   **$27 – $33 / hr** total comp

**Hiring on 2nd and 3rd Shift**

-   **2nd Shift:** 3pm – 11pm (M-F)
-   **3rd Shift:** 11pm – 7am (M-F)

**Responsibilities**

-   **Setups:** Set up and operate multiple CNC periphery grinding machines.
-   **Blueprints & GD&T:** Read complex prints, GD&T specs, and work instructions.
-   **In-Process Inspection:** Verify tight tolerances with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
-   **Program Adjustments:** Dial in grinding cycles to maintain process integrity.
-   **Tooling Maintenance:** Maintain and resurface machine tooling as needed.
-   **Troubleshooting:** Solve complex machine problems, collaborating with technical experts.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

_Required:_

-   2+ years CNC machining (milling, turning, or grinding)
-   Solid fundamentals: tooling, feeds and speeds, setups
-   Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
-   Experience with precision inspection tools
-   Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-   Commitment to safe work practices

_Preferred:_

-   Exposure to 4- or 5-axis machining
-   Basic G-code or CNC programming knowledge
-   Aerospace, medical device, or defense industry background
-   Grinding experience
