## Description

**Overview**

We're hiring CNC Machinists for our aerospace and defense machine shop outside of Anaheim, CA

We machine frames and structural components for defense platforms–true large-format work, on parts most machinists never get their hands on.

If your fundamentals are strong, we'll train you on large-format gantry mills, 5-axis machining centers, and supporting CNC mills and lathes.

**Compensation**

-   $30–$46/hr
-   45-hour week + additional optional overtime
-   Up to $100k/yr (including overtime)

**Hiring on 2nd Shift**

-   Monday - Friday

## Requirements

**Responsibilities**

-   **Setups:** Load and verify programs, tools, offsets, and fixtures from setup sheets
-   **Machining:** Set up and operate CNC milling and turning centers, including large-format work
-   **Dimensional Accuracy:** Adjust machine parameters, offsets, and tooling to hold tight tolerances
-   **Blueprints & GD&T:** Work from complex aerospace prints and customer specifications
-   **Inspection:** Precise measurement with calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments

**What You'll Run**

-   **Equipment:** Large-format gantry mills, 5-axis machining centers, and supporting CNC mills and lathes
-   **Parts:** Frames and structural components for defense platforms

You don't need large-format or gantry experience. If you're a 3, 4, or 5-axis machinist with strong fundamentals and solid setup skills, we'll train you on the big machines.

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**

-   3+ years of CNC machining experience
-   5-axis machining experience
-   Strong understanding of G-code and tool paths
-   Reads blueprints and GD&T
-   Runs own setups from setup sheets: programs, tools, offsets, and fixtures
-   Inspects own work with calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments
-   U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident) — ITAR-regulated facility

**Preferred:**

-   Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
-   Large-format or gantry mill experience
-   Experience machining large structural parts
