## Description

**Overview**

We’re hiring Forklift / Material Handlers for a large, established plastics manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on material handling role responsible for keeping production areas supplied and moving finished and work-in-process materials throughout the facility. You’ll use a forklift to deliver materials, supplies, and WIP to manufacturing areas, move completed products into storage, and help ensure production teams have what they need to keep operating without interruption.

**Compensation**

-   $17/hr – Day shift
-   $18/hr – Night shift

**Shift**

Multiple openings are available on both days and nights:

-   **Day Shift:** Rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 12-hour shifts
-   **Night Shift:** Rotating 4-on / 4-off schedule, 12-hour shifts

**Responsibilities:**

-   **Forklift Operation:** Safely transport work-in-process materials, finished products, supplies, and other materials throughout the manufacturing facility.
-   **Production Support:** Plan, stage, and deliver required materials and supplies to production areas to maintain steady manufacturing output.
-   **Pick & Pack Support:** Work closely with Pick & Pack personnel to ensure orders and materials are accurate and delivered on time.
-   **Material Verification:** Check incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, condition, and quality before movement or delivery.
-   **Inventory & Storage:** Maintain organized and accurate storage racks and material locations used by production and Pick & Pack teams.
-   **Supply Monitoring:** Communicate with production and other departments to prevent material or supply shortages from disrupting operations.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**:

Required

-   Ability to safely perform physical, hands-on material handling work throughout a 12-hour shift
-   Strong attention to safety, material accuracy, and organization
-   Ability to communicate effectively with production and warehouse teams
-   Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and material documentation
-   Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred

-   Previous forklift experience
-   Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience
-   High school diploma or GED
-   Basic computer skills
