## Description

We’re hiring experienced **Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinists** for a growing precision manufacturer supporting the **aerospace, defense, medical device, and other high-precision industries**.

This is a hands-on role focused on **complex 5-axis setups, new product launches, first articles, process development, and troubleshooting**. You’ll work with advanced machining technology including **Hermle 5-axis machining centers, Siemens NX, automated probing, Wenzel CMMs, and robotic automation**.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced machinist who wants challenging work, modern equipment, and significant earning potential on night shift.

**Pay & Schedule**

-   **Base Pay:** $30–$36/hr
-   **Night Shift Differential:** +$8/hr
-   **Total Pay:** **$38–$44/hr**
-   **Night Shift:** **3:00 PM–2:00 AM**
-   Optional overtime available

**What You'll Do:**

-   Independently perform complex **5-axis CNC setups**
-   Lead setup and prove-out of new machining jobs
-   Develop tooling, fixturing, and workholding strategies
-   Optimize machining processes for repeatable production
-   Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
-   Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues
-   Machine tight-tolerance components from **Titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys**
-   Support robotic cells and lights-out manufacturing
-   Document successful processes and transfer them into production
-   Improve cycle times, tooling performance, and overall machining efficiency
-   Support and mentor less experienced machinists

## Requirements

**Required:**

-   5+ years of CNC machining experience
-   Strong **5-axis setup experience**
-   Ability to independently set up complex parts
-   Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
-   Tight-tolerance machining experience
-   First-piece inspection experience
-   Strong tooling and workholding knowledge
-   Ability to troubleshoot machining problems independently

**Preferred:**

-   Aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing experience
-   Simultaneous 5-axis or mill-turn experience
-   Siemens or Heidenhain control experience
-   Siemens NX experience
-   Titanium, Inconel, or nickel alloy experience
-   CMM inspection experience
