**About the Role**

To be considered for this role, you must have the ability to work between Burnie-Wynyard and surrounds and work sleepover shifts. Shifts are available across days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

We are currently seeking support workers for a mix of roles including:

**Complex & Behaviour Support**  
Supporting participants with higher or more complex needs, including those who may display behaviours of concern, using consistent and trauma-informed approaches.

**Shift Work (Supported Accommodation)**  
We also offer general shift work in supported accommodation settings**.** These shifts may involve assisting participants with daily routines, personal care, household tasks, and overnight support.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Provide person-centered support tailored to each participant’s goals and needs
-   Assist with daily living activities including personal care, manual handling, and medication support
-   Support participants to access the community and build independence
-   Respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
-   Build positive, trusting relationships with participants
-   Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment

## Requirements

**Essential Requirements**

-   NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Vulnerable People Check
-   Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
-   Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
-   Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
-   Ability to work from Wynyard to Latrobe
-   Ability to complete sleepover shifts

**Desirable**

-   Medication endorsement
-   Experience supporting participants with complex needs or behaviour support
-   Certificate III in Disability / Individual Support (or similar)
