Lituanica started in the Republic of Ireland almost 20 years ago when the owners wanted to be able to find their home foods in Irish stores. They soon opened up the first Cash & Carry and chain of stores in Ireland that provided Eastern European Foods. This family owned and run business has been spearheading and leading the market in Foreign Food sales and distribution ever since.
In 2003 the Company made the decision to expand operations into the UK market and has been trailblazing its way to success. The Company has had to increase its warehouse size three times, seen an increase in employment of almost 300% in 15 years, and still has the largest, unique, selection of food available to clients. In 2016 we opened our largest Distribution Centre (East & Nord) in Rainham to continue bringing these fantastic foods to the remotest corners of the UK.
