LloydsDirect’s mission is to simplify pharmacy, making it easier for people to get, take and manage their meds. Founded by patients frustrated with the status quo, we’ve assembled a unique team of designers, developers, logisticians and clinicians to build a pharmacy fit for the future.
Established in 2015, we are a diverse and inclusive team of over 200 people based in Old
Street and Perivale (London), where we run one of England’s busiest pharmacies. We
have three office dogs, an active social schedule and a hardcore coffee machine. Lloyds Direct was VC backed, until the summer, at which point we
were acquired by McKesson UK (owner of LloydsPharmacy), but remains a fiercely independent scale-up.
LloydsDirect is a proud member of the NHS Innovation Accelerator and we’ve won a bunch of awards including the Mayor of London’s Outstanding Achievement award and KPMG Best British Mobile Start-Up. But what we’re most proud of is the impact we’re having on medicines adherence, keeping people healthy and supporting the NHS.
