## Description

**LMW**, on behalf of its client, a leading international technology and digital transformation consulting company, is seeking a **Senior DevOps Engineer**to join a strategic project within the banking sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade platforms that support mission-critical banking services, collaborating with highly skilled engineering teams in a modern DevOps environment.

You'll play a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing deployment processes while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
-   Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using **Ansible**.
-   Develop and maintain **Jenkins** pipelines using **Groovy**.
-   Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on **OpenShift** and **Kubernetes** platforms.
-   Configure and support **Istio** service mesh for secure, scalable, and resilient microservices communication.
-   Manage database schema versioning and deployment using **Liquibase**.
-   Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
-   Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement continuous improvements.
-   Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and infrastructure reliability across the project.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
-   **5+ years of professional experience** in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.

-   Strong hands-on experience with **Ansible** for automation and configuration management.
-   Proven experience building and maintaining **Jenkins** pipelines using **Groovy**.
-   Solid expertise with **OpenShift** and/or **Kubernetes** container orchestration platforms.
-   Experience implementing or supporting **Istio** service mesh.
-   Hands-on experience with **Liquibase** for database change management.
-   Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, infrastructure automation, and release management.
-   Experience working in Linux-based environments.
-   Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
