## Description

**LMW,** on behalf of its client,a dynamic company operating in the maritime technology and marine equipment industry, is looking for a **Finance & Accounting Officer to join its team.**

The Finance & Accounting Officer will serve as the primary liaison between the company, Management, and the external accounting firm, ensuring the accurate and timely monitoring of all financial and accounting processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Monitor daily cash position, bank accounts, and company cash flows.
-   Review, record, and track purchase and sales invoices.
-   Verify and reconcile accounting records with AADE myDATA platform requirements.
-   Perform customer, supplier, and bank account reconciliations.
-   Monitor and manage collections, overdue balances, and customer credit limits.
-   Maintain daily communication with customers and their accounting departments to ensure timely payments.
-   Support the commercial team on credit control and customer financial management matters.
-   Monitor supplier obligations and coordinate payment schedules.
-   Prepare and monitor weekly cash collection and payment plans.
-   Communicate with suppliers to ensure the proper execution of payments.
-   Prepare financial data related to VAT, VIES, intra-community transactions, and other tax obligations in collaboration with the external accounting firm.
-   Support monthly and annual closing procedures.
-   Gather and prepare financial information for financial statements, audits, and other corporate reporting requirements.
-   Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for Management.
-   Monitor the company’s receivables, payables, and liquidity position.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
-   3–5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
-   Experience within a trading company involved in imports, exports, and international transactions.
-   Good understanding of accounting and tax regulations and procedures.
-   Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
-   Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
-   Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
-   Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
