## Description

**LMW**, on behalf of its client, a leading international technology and digital transformation consulting company, is looking for a **Mid-Level SysOps Engineer** to join a strategic project within the digital payments industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly available, secure, and performance-driven environment, supporting critical infrastructure and applications that power modern payment services.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of enterprise systems while contributing to the continuous improvement of infrastructure and operational processes.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux-based production and non-production environments.
-   Support hybrid infrastructure across **AWS** and **on-premises** environments.
-   Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using **Ansible**.
-   Build, maintain, and improve **GitLab CI/CD** pipelines to streamline software delivery.
-   Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability and monitoring tools, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
-   Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
-   Perform routine database administration and operational support, including backups, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
-   Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.
-   Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-   Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

## Requirements

-   **3–5 years of professional experience** in a SysOps, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Operations role.
-   Strong hands-on experience with **Linux** system administration.
-   Experience managing infrastructure in **AWS** and **on-premises** environments.
-   Proficiency with **Ansible** for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
-   Experience designing and maintaining **GitLab CI/CD** pipelines.
-   Knowledge of **Docker** and **Kubernetes** for container orchestration and application deployment.
-   Experience with observability, logging, and monitoring solutions.
-   Understanding of database operations, including routine maintenance, backups, and performance monitoring.
-   Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) is considered an advantage.
-   Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
