**LMW**, on behalf of its client, a leading international technology and digital transformation consulting company, is seeking an experienced **Senior Database Administrator** to join a high-impact project within the banking sector. ### Key Responsibilities:

-   Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments.
-   Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning strategies.
-   Ensure high availability, reliability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
-   Manage database security, user access, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
-   Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database platforms.
-   Support application deployments and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
-   Perform capacity planning and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements.
-   Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and database standards.
-   Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and production support activities.

## Requirements

-   **5+ years of professional experience** as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
-   Strong experience administering relational database management systems such as **Oracle**, **Microsoft SQL Server**, **PostgreSQL**, or similar platforms.
-   Hands-on experience with database backup, recovery, replication, high availability, and performance tuning.
-   Strong knowledge of SQL and database architecture principles.
-   Experience with database monitoring and automation tools.
-   Understanding of security best practices and access management.
-   Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
-   Relevant database certifications are considered an advantage.
