At Logisnext UK, we're looking for a skilled engineer who takes pride in solving problems, delivering great customer service and keeping equipment running when our customers need it most.

This is a home-based Field Service Engineer role covering primarily Leicestershire and Warwickshire, with ideal candidate locations including Rugby, Corby, Kettering, South Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

You'll be joining a business with more than 60 years of industry expertise and a growing portfolio that includes forklift trucks, warehouse equipment and advanced automation technologies, including AGVs.

Whether your background is forklifts, plant machinery, HGVs, agricultural equipment, PSV, automotive engineering or the Armed Forces, we'll provide the specialist product training you need to succeed.

**The Role**

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be based from home and manage your own territory, supporting customers across Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

No two days are the same. One day you could be carrying out planned maintenance on a customer's fleet. The next you could be diagnosing an electrical fault, carrying out a breakdown repair or installing new equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

·       Planned servicing and maintenance

·       Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

·       Carrying out repairs and breakdown work

·       Completing service documentation electronically

·       Installing and commissioning equipment

·       Building strong relationships with customers

·       Maintaining high standards of safety

·       Managing your own workload effectively

You'll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems and deliver excellent service, whilst having the support of an experienced engineering and technical team behind you.

## Requirements

**What We're Looking For**

**Essential**

·       Mechanical engineering experience

·       Basic electrical fault-finding skills

·       Full UK driving licence

·       Experience maintaining or repairing machinery, vehicles or equipment

·       Strong problem-solving ability

·       Ability to work independently

·       Good customer service skills

**We'd Particularly Like to Hear From Engineers With Experience In:**

·       Forklift trucks

·       Plant equipment

·       Agricultural machinery

·       Construction equipment

·       HGV, LGV or PSV vehicles

·       Automotive engineering

·       REME or Armed Forces engineering backgrounds

·       Roadside recovery

Previous field service experience is beneficial but not essential.

What matters most is your attitude, technical ability and willingness to learn. Full product training will be provided.
