> <p>At Longmoor our homes provides a warm and caring environment that:</p><ol><li>Helps residents aspire to fulfil their potential and promotes their welfare.</li><li>Drives the home in a way that is consistent with the approach and ethos, and delivers the outcomes, set out in the home’s statement of purpose.</li><li>Ensures that staff work as a team where appropriate and they have the experience, qualifications and skills to meet the needs of each resident.</li><li>Understands the impact that the quality of care provided in the home is having on the progress and experiences of each resident and use this understanding to inform the development of the quality of care provided in the home.</li><li>Demonstrates that practice in the home is informed and improved by considering and acting on: </li></ol><ul><li><em>Research and developments in relation to the ways in which the needs of people are best met; and </em></li><li><em>Feedback on the experiences of people, including complaints received; and</em></li><li><em>The use of monitoring and review systems to make continuous improvements in the quality of care provided in the home.</em></li></ul><p>The Manager of the home champions the ethos of Longmoor Care Ltd, to promote staff to work as an effective team to meet our residents needs set out in the Statement of Purpose. </p><p>Finally through regular internal and external review driving continual improvement the continuity of high quality care delivered to each resident is assured.</p>
