**About the role:**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Associate to support accounting operations, financial reporting, vendor payments, reconciliations, payroll accounting, statutory compliance, and audit activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, experience in handling end-to-end accounting processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multinational environment.

## Requirements

**What you’ll do:**

**General Accounting**

-   Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
-   Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
-   Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
-   Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
-   Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting.

**Accounts Payable & Employee Reimbursements**

-   Process vendor invoices and ensure compliance with approval workflows.
-   Review and process employee expense reimbursements.
-   Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
-   Support timely processing of vendor payments.

**Payroll Accounting**

-   Review payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
-   Reconcile payroll liabilities, employee benefits, and statutory deductions.
-   Coordinate with payroll and HR teams for accounting-related queries

**Statutory Compliance**

-   Support GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances.
-   Maintain compliance documentation and records.
-   Assist in responding to notices and queries from regulatory authorities.

**Audit & Internal Controls**

-   Prepare schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
-   Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
-   Assist in implementing process improvements and strengthening financial controls.

**Reporting & Analysis**

-   Prepare financial reports and variance analysis as required.
-   Support management reporting and ad-hoc finance requests.
-   Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and outstanding items.

**Process Improvement**

-   Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
-   Participate in system implementation and process improvement initiatives.
-   Maintain and update accounting process documentation.

**What we're looking for:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business 

-   5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.

-   Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
-   Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
-   Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, .
-   Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis
