As we expand into a new AI-focused business line, we are searching for a visionary AI Team Lead / AI Technical Manager to spearhead the development of our next flagship product: a fully scalable AI Agent platform built from the ground up.

**Role Overview**

As the AI Team Lead / AI Technical Manager, you will drive the vision, architecture, and execution of our AI Agent initiatives while mentoring a talented team of engineers.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping an entirely new line of business, working closely with senior leadership - including the CEO, CTO, and General Manager - to turn innovative concepts into scalable, revenue-generating AI solutions.

### What You’ll Do

**Own the Vision & Delivery**

-   Lead the design, development, and deployment of a brand-new AI Agent platform with a strong focus on customer service use cases.
-   Build a product that can scale to multiple enterprise clients, meeting aggressive growth metrics (targeting ~$1M ARR by year-end).
-   Manage multiple client engagements at the same time, ensuring successful delivery
-   Mange and grow the AI infrastructure for scale and performance

**Lead & Grow a High-Performing AI Team**

-   Manage and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers (starting with 3 and growing).
-   Establish strong practices, structure workflows, and remove blockers to keep momentum high.
-   Help build and maintain reusable AI services to speed up high quality development

**Drive Strategy & Stakeholder Alignment**

-   Work directly with the GM of the business unit and the Snr. Director of AI to align on priorities and deliverables.
-   Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
-   Push back when needed and influence decisions through data, clarity, and strategic thinking.

**Bring Order to Ambiguity**

-   Thrive in a fast-moving, fragmented early-stage environment by creating structure, processes, and reliable rhythms of execution.
-   Help define how the team collaborates, plans, and delivers high-quality releases.

### What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90-120 days, you will:

-   Develop a clear scaling plan for our AI Agents.
-   Get 'hands dirty' by working with the team on delivering AI Agents for our Customers
-   Establish operating rhythms, processes, and collaboration models across engineering, product, and leadership.
-   Gain a strong understanding of the local business environment and adapt effectively to regional culture.

### What We’re Looking For

**Non-Negotiables**

-   Outstanding communication skills - able to simplify complex concepts effortlessly.

-   Strong stakeholder management; confident guiding and influencing senior leaders.

-   Hands-on experience building AI Agents and understanding their technical realities (strengths, pitfalls, constraints).

## Requirements

**Experience & Qualifications**

-   6+ years in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years leading teams.
-   Strong practical experience designing, training, deploying, and evaluating LLM-based systems.
-   Expertise in Python and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
-   Familiarity with MLOps pipelines, LLM evaluation, and production AI systems.
-   Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud environments.
-   SaaS experience (especially customer service AI) is highly preferred.
-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related fields, though exceptional hands-on experience is more important.
